Reformer Pilates has evolved over the years, developing and growing into a more fluid and efficiently delivered form of exercise whilst still staying true to the original Pilates Principles. Recently Dynamic Reformer Pilates has seen explosive growth in the fitness industry and Dynamic Instructors are in demand! A Dynamic Reformer class is delivered in a more fluid manner than Classical Pilates, relying on muscles to have longer time under tension, less positional changes and in some instances encouraging clients to train to failure stimulating muscle growth. Sequences are streamlined to flow seamlessly from one movement to the next with an objective to initially Mobilize, Strengthen than Stretch the targeted muscle group. If a class is delivered accurately the results are phenomenal.
The Pilates Movement Academy, Dynamic Reformer course is administered and created by the studio Founder, Jeff Waters. Jeff is a highly experienced Instructor educated at the industry highest levels, bringing a variety of robust elements to the course. Having worked across the fitness sector as a Personal Trainer, Football Fitness Coach, Mat Pilates Instructor, and of course a Reformer Pilates instructor.
With an extensive working knowledge on how to run and execute a successful Pilates class, complimented by an experienced understanding of what gets people results is at the forefront of this ‘no nonsense’ course. The Pilates Movement studio sessions have always been designed with a personal training approach to ensure they are results based and delivered with the precision of the Pilates ethos. More so, Jeff owns and runs several successful Reformer Pilates studio and a London based HIIT studio, spending years of his life perfecting the delivery of group exercise and helping multiple instructors create successful careers for themselves..
The course is hosted out of our Guildford location practising on the latest Merrithew SPX Reformers over 6 weeks. The course is hosted every Friday afternoon from 1 pm through to 6 pm making up a total course time of 30 hours.
