ABOUT THE CLASS
Reformer Control is our signature session, and for good reason. It’s the all-rounder of our timetable, combining full body mobilisation, strength work and stretching into one beautifully balanced session. Every class flows through a considered sequence that wakes up the body, builds real strength, and always makes space for lengthening and release.
Control is the clearest expression of our Dynamic Reformer methodology — mobilise, strengthen, stretch, all inside a single session. Whether you’re relatively new to the Reformer or you’ve been practising for years, Control meets you at your level. Our instructors offer progressions for those ready to push further and regressions for anyone dialling things back on the day, so the same class works brilliantly for a mixed-ability room.
What sets Control apart is the pace and the precision. We take the time to get positioning right, to connect breath to movement, and to really feel each exercise rather than rushing through it. The result is an all-encompassing workout that leaves you stronger, more mobile and more aware of your body than when you arrived. Pre and post-natal attendees need to check with the studio before booking, and we’ll point you toward the right option.

The questions we hear most about our signature class.
Yes, Control is designed to work across levels with regressions built in. That said, if you’re completely new to exercise or the Reformer, starting with a couple of Foundations classes first will make your first Control session feel much more comfortable.
Control is balanced. You get strength, mobility and stretching all in one session. Burn is all-in strength and intensity with minimal stretching. Most members do both, with Control as the regular anchor.
Two to three times a week is the sweet spot for seeing real progress. Control is a brilliant base to build from, and can be mixed with Burn, Control + or Foundations depending on how your body feels.
Grip socks, fitted workout clothing and a water bottle. Arrive ten to fifteen minutes early for your first session so we can show you the studio, get you set up and answer any questions before the class starts.
Please check with the studio before booking. Depending on your stage we may recommend a Pre Natal Assessment first or steer you towards Personal Training to keep things tailored and safe.
