Jeff & Jane, a husband and wife team, are the founders of The Pilates Movement. Jeff and Jane bring years of experience working within the fitness industry and are both extremely passionate about Pilates and really wish to share their passion with you. You will catch Jeff teaching classes along with Jane who will look after your member journey.

Jeff is a highly experienced Personal Trainer and Instructor holding some of the highest industry qualifications available, having had years of experience helping people achieve their desired goals whilst transforming their lives. Jeff’s career spans from training High Profile Sydney based clients to being an Exercise Coach at a Sydney based Football team, before moving to the UK. Once in the UK Jeff founded The Pilates Movement along with a London based HIIT studio, he is a ‘hands on’ studio owner being active in running classes and taking Personal Training sessions, purely for the love of helping people and seeing their progression.
Jeff’s career in Pilates started after suffering from a shoulder injury during intensive training being introduced to Pilates to help his rehabilitation. After seeing the many benefits he started looking to learn more about Pilates and all it had to offer. Qualifying as a Pilates instructor in Sydney, Australia with Australias top Pilates academy, he then decided to focus more on Pilates training rather than standard Gym Training. Jeff eventually found his way into Reformer Pilates seeing the further benefits and results the Reformer was able to achieve for his clients.
His upbeat manner and personal style, complimented with years of experience, extensive qualifications and flexible approach will keep you motivated to enjoy every session
Jane is co founder of the Pilates Movement and is on hand to help you in any way with your booking experience and membership queries. She will make you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door. Developing a love for Pilates whilst living in Australia, Jane saw first hand how amazing Pilates is for developing core strength and helping with lower back issues. She is a busy mum of three who loves to hop on a reformer whenever she can. Having had a successful career in the fashion industry Jane has now dedicated all her energy into making The Pilates Movement an amazing experience for everyone how joins.
Ramin has practised as an athlete and fitness professional for over ten years. As a result, he has a deep knowledge of the body and the methods for developing dynamic strength, coordination, and tone. With extensive qualifications ranging from Massage Therapy, Sports Conditioning and Reformer Pilates from some of the best education providers in the industry.
Moreover, he likes to train in a fun and challenging way that helps build and maintain a healthy, functional, aesthetic physique.
After his classes, you should notice yourself standing taller, moving better and feeling stronger.
When I discovered the Reformer machine, and the amazing benefits it provides for the body and mind, the Pilates method of body conditioning quickly became very important to me. My health and fitness improved, my energy levels increased, and I found myself more confident in day-to-day.
I knew I wanted to share my newfound passion with others, so they too would be able to find that first moment on the path towards great things. I am trained to teach on the Reformer, the mat, and with all other equipment. I am also fully accredited by Polestar Pilates, a global organisation recognised in over fifty countries, which places an emphasis on integrating the latest research and innovations into Pilates instruction. If you choose to work with me, you will receive a modern and personalised program of exercises, targeted to your goals and ability levels. I also believe in making the exercise space a fun and enjoyable one – so you will not only see beneficial results as we progress, but will also have a good time getting there.
Karen has always been active, keeping fit with her favourite bootcamp, HiiT and yoga classes. Though it wasn’t until she injured her back that she was introduced to Pilates for rehabilitation, and she hasn’t looked back since – going on to qualify as an instructor herself.
As Karen puts it, Pilates completely changed her life, and she is passionate about sharing what she has learned and helping people achieve their goals.In particular, she enjoys supporting her clients as they overcome injuries, restore postural imbalances, strengthen core muscles and gain all of the mind/body benefits Pilates brings.
Karen has worked with clients in a mixed group setting of all levels of fitness and ability. She also thrives working on a one-to-one basis, and she likes nothing better than seeing her clients improve over time. She believes that a little perseverance goes a long way!
Tash has been in the fitness industry for 27 years. Beginning as an exercise to music instructor back in the day when leg warmers and leotards were the outfit of choice!
Whilst in a role as studio manager at a large chain of gyms Tash discovered Pilates and Yoga and fell in love with the ethos of healing your body through movement. Subsequently training as a Yoga instructor then as a Pilates instructor with Body Control Pilates she now uses her knowledge to help clients to achieve their fitness and wellbeing goals and enjoys “fixing” postural problems and injuries after healing herself through movement following spine surgery.
Her enthusiasm and motivation towards her class participants helps them to do that last extra rep on the reformer resulting in, well results!
My journey into sport and fitness began as a little girl. I fell in love with everything to do with track and field athletics and planned to make this into a career upon leaving school.
However fate intervened and I took a different path and worked as an Air Hostess for British Airways, having loads of fun. However I was always yearning to get back to what I loved.
So 20 years ago I found my path back to fitness and there my journey began, and it lead me to Pilates. I studied with Pilates Solutions and later I trained as a STOTT Instructor. I decided to further my career and became a personal trainer with a diploma for advanced human anatomy. My passion is to achieve an injury free future for all and in turn improve the health and physical and mental fitness of the clients.

Erin started her career as a professional dance teacher, known for her passion for movement and her dedication to helping her students build strength, tone and flexibility. Certified by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, Erin studied and trained at Linda Sweetzer’s Teacher Training College where she went on to teach ballet, tap, modern and jazz for various dance schools.
A passion for fitness led Erin to explore and train in Zumba, Barre Concept and group exercise.
Struggling with knee problems during her dance career, she needed an alternative means of exercise to keep her knee strong. After leaving the dance industry due to two knee operations, Erin discovered Pilates. This dramatically helped her recovery and allowed her to return to her fitness studies.
Erin trained with internationally renowned Basi Pilates, completing their 500 comprehensive teacher training. Erin is a truly amazing instructor who is able to inspire people to get the very best from the session and reach their best potential. Her session are always delivered with articulation and precision making them hugely enjoyable.
Aniko has a passion for movement with a dancing background. She is a Level 3 Classical Mat Pilates trained and also completed her Dynamic Reformer course in London. She loves to challenge her clients and keeps her classes fun, helping clients achieve greater mobility and strength and discover muscles they’ve never felt before! Aniko has deepened her knowledge for specialist needs such as pre-and post-natal and common orthopaedic conditions
